2026 Gulf Coast Watermelon Queen

My name is Jennifer Diaz

It is a true honor to represent the Gulf Coast as your 2026 Gulf Coast Watermelon Queen. Hailing from the small town of Lucedale, Mississippi, I am currently a student at the University of South Alabama, pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences with plans to become a pediatrician. From learning the behind-the-scenes work at Charlie’s U-Pik to advocating for our local farmers, I have developed a deep appreciation for the people who bring our melons from seed to table. I am excited for the year ahead and incredibly grateful for your support on this journey.  I invite you to join me on this journey by following along at the social media links below.
